HOLLAND, Mich. – Albion College goalkeeper Maggie Troost withstood the pressure Wednesday night, making a season-high nine saves in the Britons 1-0 loss to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Hope College.
Rachael Braginton scored the only goal of the contest in the 10th minute.
Hancock generated Albion's only shot on goal of the night in the 84th minute, but Hope goalkeeper Jordanne Ellingboe was up to the challenge.
Castellano sent another shot wide with three minutes left in the contest.
Albion (6-4-1 overall and 5-3-1 against MIAA rivals) will play its next two contests at home, starting with a 4:30 p.m. Saturday date with Trine University.
