Devyn Ramsay

Devyn Ramsay joined the Albion College cross country program as an assistant coach in 2017.

A 2009 graduate of Benzie Central High School where she was the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s 2006 Division 3 cross country champion, two-time cross country runner up and an all-state performer in the 1,600, 3,200 and 4x800 events on the track, Ramsay joins the Britons after coaching assignments at Utica College and the State University of New York at Potsdam.

Ramsay completed her bachelor's degree of arts and sciences with a minor in school counseling and a concentration in public health at the University of Toledo in 2014.

A member of the cross country and track and field teams at Toledo, Ramsay achieved all-Mid-American Conference second team status and advanced to compete in the NCAA Track & Field Championships in 2013.  A two-time all-MAC second team performer in cross country, Ramsay was a member of the Rockets MAC championship team in 2010, and she went on to set the fourth-best time in school history at the NCAA Championships. In track and field, she recorded personal-bests of 4:38 in the 1,500 meters, 4:57 in the mile and 16:59 in the 5,000 meters. 

Following graduation, she assisted the Benzie High School cross country coaching staff from the fall of 2014 through the spring of 2015 and helped lead the boys’ team to its second-straight Division 3 Lower Peninsula championship.
