- Earned two letters in wrestling at Holt High School for coaches Stan Granger and Collin Leyer
- Posted All-CAAC Blue honors and was an all-state wrestler
- Helped the Rams to a district title
- Received the Spark Plug award, Team Most Valuable Wrestler and the Seth Hanton Helping Hands Award
- Team captain for one year
- Also lettered in sideline and competitive cheer
