Britons Strong Showing Highlights Albion Doubles Tournament

ALBION, Mich. -- The fall season rolled on in fine fashion for the Albion College women's tennis team on Saturday afternoon with a strong outing at the Albion Doubles Tournament.

The Britons made the most of being at home for the first time during the 2025-26 campaign, winning two out of three draws on the day.

In the Purple Draw, Abbie Hubbard and Molly Dunn partnered to go 5-0 against squads from Alma College, Olivet College, and Spring Arbor University. Hubbard and Dunn rolled the competition, fending off a feisty team of Ellie Murray and Kendall Armstrong from Spring Arbor in a hotly contested match that resulted in a 6-4 win for the Brits.

Albion found more success in the Gold Draw. The team of Lynsey Brearley and Grace Meade went undefeated throughout the competition, highlighted by a 6-0 romp against Olivet's Natalie Frederick and Mariah Powell.
