RESULTS
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Albion women's swim & dive team took fifth at the MIAA Invitational with 174 points hosted by Calvin at the Venema Aquatic Center.
The Knights won the meet with 631 points.
The invitational serves as an unofficial preview of the MIAA Championships which take place from February 18-21 at the Holland Aquatic Center.
Casey Adcock had the best placement of any swimmer for the Britons, as she took fourth in the 200 freestyle (2:01.66).
Emily Evers placed 11
th in the 400 IM (5:12.24), while
Alyssa Glaser was 12
th in the 200 breaststroke (2:45.02).
Glaser was also 22
nd in the 50 freestyle (29.86).
The 400 medley relay quartet of
McKinley Levandoski, Adcock,
Leah Gray and Evers placed ninth (4:34.92), while the 200 freestyle relay squad of Gray, Levandoski,
Kirstie Symons and Glaser notched 10
th (1:56.06).
Wen Wadsworth-Curcuru once again won both the 1-meter (254.70) and 3-meter (267.75) events. The seven-time MIAA Diver of the Week won her 17
th and 18
th competitions of the season.
Mia Carone took 11
th in the 1-meter (191.40), while
Alyssa Schafer placed ninth in the 3-meter (213.40).
