Major: Geological Sciences...He received the department's W.A. Tarr Award for Outstanding Scholarship & Leadership in Geology at the Honors Convocation in April, 2018

About Andrew: This is Andrew's fourth year on the Albion College Track and Field team. He is a three-time Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll student.

Notable Performances:

2018 Indoor Season

• Secured his place on the all-MIAA team with the individual title in the javelin throw (48.90 meters)
• Qualified for the MIAA Academic Honor Roll

2017-18 Indoor Season

• The MIAA bronze medalist in the weight throw at 16.26 meters (53’ 4 ¼”) in the league championship meet
• Named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's Field Athlete of the Week Jan. 16 after taking first place in the weight throw with an effort of 50' 3 ½" in a dual meet against Calvin
• Achieved the school record in the weight throw (14.69 meters, the equivalent of 48' 2") during the Saginaw Valley State University Holiday Classic

2017 Outdoor Season

• Scored for the Britons in the javelin throw (third, 140' 5") and hammer throw (seventh, 135') during the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championship
• Achieved personal best in the hammer throw (144' 6") in an April meet at Alma
• Achieved personal best in the discus throw (120' 2")  during an April meet at Ohio Northern

2017 Indoor Season

• Fifth place in the weight throw (46’ 5 ½”) during the MIAA Championship

2016 Indoor Season

• Eighth place in the shot put (43’ 9”) during the MIAA Championship
