Ferguson's first season at Albion will be the 2024 cross country season,
Ferguson previously served as a graduate assistant at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. There, she helped coach the 2022 women's runner-up team at the CCIW Conference Championship. In 2023, the Cardinals finished third. She also assisted on the track and field side, coaching the women's distance crew to four consecutive CCIW Track and Field Championships while helping the Cardinals recruiting efforts. On the individual side, Ferguson coached 14 All-Conference athletes and four All-Region athletes during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons.
Ferguson began her coaching career in 2021 as a volunteer coach at Allegheny College. There, she helped lead the women's team to their 15th NCAC Cross Country Championship. They captured a sixth place finish at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional meet the following week. Their season ended with a 30th place finish at the NCAA Cross Country National Championship. On the men's side, the Gators were runners-up in the NCAC Cross Country Championship.
A native of Saegertown, Pennsylvania, Ferguson was a student-athlete at Westminster College (PA) where she served as a Student Athlete Advisory Committee member and leader for the women's cross country and track and field teams. She also helped the Titans win three PAC Track and Field Championships, two indoor seasons and one outdoor season.
