Albion College

Aikens enters his fourth season on staff in the 2024-45 school year. He returned to his alma mater following a stellar career with the Britons. 

In the 2023-24 season, he mentored thrower Tess Anthony to a sweep of MIAA Field MVP Honors in both indoor and outdoor track and field. 

During his time at Albion, Aikens has mentored five National Qualifiers. He led Mason Darden to the DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships twice and once in the indoor meet. In 2022, he guided Derrelle Murray to All-American honors, placing eighth at the Outdoor Championships. 

Aikens has also mentored four conference champions.
