The 2022-23 year will be King's second with the Britons. A native of Evansville, Indiana, King swam and ran in high school, earning All-State honors in the 100 back.
At the University of Michigan, he was a Big Ten team champion (2020, 2021), a NCAA Qualifier and the former record holder for the Big Ten meet in the 200 medley relay. He is a 2021 graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in Music Performance. In the Summer of 2021, he was a Club Wolverine Elite Volunteer Coach and an Assistant Coach.
Since joining Albion, he has mentored athletes to more than 40 new or updated Top-10 school times, nine new school records, a third place finish at MIAAs for both the men and women, seven MIAA Champions, two MIAA meet records and five NCAA Qualifiers.
