Evan Wonner comes back to Albion College to serve as the assistant swimming and diving coach, with the 2024-25 season being his second on staff. He graduated from Albion in 2021, where he was a four year member of the varsity squad. During his four years at Albion, Evan was a member of two MIAA Championships in 2018 and 2019. He also earned a pair of individual conference titles in both the 100 free and 100 fly, and was named to the All-MIAA First Team in three seasons.
Prior to his return, Evan served as the assistant coach for Columbia Swim Club under the tutelage of Albion legend, Mary Ann Egnatuk. While there, Evan's team saw his swimmers make Futures, NCSA, and Sectionals cuts.
Evan is excited to return to his alma mater, and has moved back with his girlfriend, Lexie and their crazy yellow lab, Sadie
