Albion College

Robert Rariden, who led the Powers Catholic High School girls team to its highest finish in the Saginaw Valley League in a decade and qualified seven individuals and five relay teams to the Michigan High School Athletic Association Championship, will join the Albion College swimming and diving program as an assistant coach.

A graduate of Michigan State University and Grand Blanc High School, Rariden got his start in coaching as an assistant coach at the Genesys Club.

At Grand Blanc High School, Rariden was a four-year letter winner in swimming, where he served as captain his senior year. He also played goalie for the water polo team.

He is an active member and guest speaker for the National Kidney Foundation as well as a six-time gold medalist at the U.S. Transplant Games in 2010.
