Biography

 

2019-2020: Gained All-MIAA status for the second time with his championship finish in the 200 Y Fly with a first place time of 1:53.14...and a fifth place finish in the 400 Y IM (4:09.71). 

2016-2017: Gained honorable mention All-America status with the 400 medley relay team...Qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in the 200 breaststroke and 400 medley relay...Earned his place on the all-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association team after gaining league titles in the 500 freestyle, 400 individual medley, 200 butterfly and 400 medley relay...Achieved a 55.33 split as the 400 medley relay achieved a MIAA record time of 3:18.27...A two-time MIAA Athlete of the Week award winner (Dec. 5 after breaking school records in the breaststroke events (56.60 in the 100 and 2:03.81 in the 200 in the Carthage Invitational; and Jan. 17 after winning two individual events in Albion's dual meet win at Calvin).

Prior: The South American junior champion and record holder and Peruvian champion in the breaststroke.

Personal: A physics major with minors in mathematics and chemistry...Lists music and film as interests...Son of Gerardo Huidobro Aguero and Fiorella Sigismadi.

Career Highs
2016 MIAA Championships: Set the school record in a runner-up finish in the 400 individual medley (4:06.07)...Swam on the school record setting 200 and 400 medley relay teams.
