Biography
2018-2019: A two-time All-American, finishing fifth on the 1-meter and seventh on the 3-meter boards in the NCAA Division III Championships...Finished as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Most Valuable Diver for the fourth time...MIAA 1-meter champion and 3-meter runner up...Five-time MIAA Diver of the Week...Set the Wabash College pool record with a score of 511.40 to win the 1-meter event in the Wabash College Invitational.
2017-2018: Scored honorable mention All-America awards, finishing ninth in 3-meter (489.05) and 11th in 1-meter (452.30) at the NCAA Championship...Finished as the MIAA Men's Most Valuable Diver, winning the 1-meter competition (509.60) and finishing second in 3-meter (486.80)...Named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Diver of the Week twice during the month of November, Jan. 16 after setting his highest 3-meter score (303.40) of the season and Feb. 12 after achieving winning scores of 227.10 on the 1-meter and 251.20 on the 3-meter to win the diving competitions in the dual meet against Olivet.
2016-2017: Scored honorable mention All-America awards, finishing ninth in the 1-meter competition and 10th in the 3-meter during the NCAA Championship...Named the MIAA's Most Valuable Diver for the second year in a row with scores of 492.95 to win the 1-meter title and 509.50 to win the 3-meter title...Named the MIAA's Diver of the Week Feb. 6 after scoring 317.10 in the 1-meter event during the dual meet with Olivet to break his own Albion school record and 334.05 on the 3-meter, best in the conference this season.
2015-2016: Achieved the best finish by an Albion diver in the NCAA Division III Championships and All-America status with a sixth-place finish in the 1-meter competition (final score was 463.75)...Qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships with a fifth place finish in 1-meter (439.60) and an 11th place finish in 3-meter (442.65) during the Region 1 Championships... The MIAA Most Valuable Diver after winning the league title on the 1-meter board and finishing runner-up on the 3-meter board...Seized the school-record in 3-meter diving with a score of 340.55 in the Jan. 23 dual meet against Hope and in 1-meter (313.85) in the Jan. 30 meet against Olivet and Wooster...Achieved a qualifying score for the NCAA Diving Regional with scores of 302.40 (1-meter) and 261.97 (3-meter) during the Oct. 31 dual meet against Alma College...Achieved a 492.75 score for 11 dives off the 1-meter board in the Carthage Classic.
Prior to Albion: The pool and varsity record holder for six and 11 dives at Chelsea High School...A four-team state meet qualifier and all-Southeastern Conference award winner...The Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2 diving champion in 2014...Achieved All-America status and served as a team captain in 2015.
