Nathan Lee enters his second season as assistant coach at Albion in 2025 working primarily with defensive players and systems, and serve receive schemes.
Lee worked with a Briton defense that ranked No. 1 in the MIAA in digs with 2,085. He also mentored defensive specialist Paige Williamson, who earned second-team All-MIAA honors after leading the conference in digs with 672.
Prior to Albion, Lee served as a graduate assistant at Ohio Christian University in Circleville, Ohio for the 2023 season.
That year, Lee helped guide OCU to a record year, winning the most NAIA games in program history, while finishing in the top 20 nationally defensively. Lee also mentored two Trailblazers to All-RSC honors.
Lee native graduated from Siena Heights University in 2022 with a degree in religious studies and graduated magna cum laude. He played four seasons on the Saints' men's volleyball team from 2019-22 as a libero/defensive specialist, where he was top 30 in the NAIA for aces and aces per set in 2020.
He also earned Academic All-WHAC honors in 2021 and 2022 and the WHAC Champions of Character Award in 2021.
While attending Siena Heights, Lee also coached high school volleyball at Lenawee Christian in Adrian in 2021 under fellow Albion assistant coach Kortney Addleman working with player development, scouting, serve scheme, practice planning and setter decision making. That year, he helped the Cougars to an MHSAA Division 4 regional championship and No. 1 ranking in the state at one point by the MVCA before losing to the eventual state champion, Battle Creek St. Phillip, in the quarterfinals.
After graduation, Lee followed Addleman over to Hanover-Horton High School for the 2022 season where he helped the Comets to their first regional final appearance since 2010.
