HOLLAND, Mich. - Amanda Weaver, Victoria Sochor, and Megan Wickens all completed their races in less than 20 minutes as Albion finished second in the team standings of the Vanderbilt Invitational. Weaver, a senior from Marshall, was the ninth runner to reach the finish line, completing the course in 19:24. Sochor and Wickens came in at 19:42 and 19:43, respectively.

"Victoria and Megan really jumped up from a year ago," Smith said. "It is a good sign of how hard they worked this summer."

Rachel Derocher and Laura Kelly completed Albion's top five with times of 20:30 and 20:54, respectively.

Albion travels to Delaware, Ohio, Sept. 8 for the Great Lakes Colleges Association Championship.
