LANSING, Mich. - Albion College finished sixth out of 29 teams in the Lansing Invitational. Jessica Shaw was the ninth runner to reach the finish line, completing the 5K course in 18:53.

Albion coach Hayden Smith credited Victoria Sochor for setting a good time of 19:33 despite the humid conditions. Megan Wickens was close behind Sochor, reaching the finish line in 19:45. Rachel Derocher (20:32) and Theresa Hencsie (21:48) completed Albion's top five.
