ANGOLA, Ind. – Dana Brooks improved his season-best score by seven strokes Saturday to help Albion College lock into a tie for fifth in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Golf Jamboree at the Zollner Golf Course.

Brooks' even-par 71 tied him for fourth on the individual leader board.

Jake Bloom and Taylor DesEnfants added round of 76 and Connor Maddalena and Drew White finished with round of 79 as Albion compiled a 302 total. The Britons and Olivet College trailed fourth-place Adrian College by six strokes and third-place Hope College by eight strokes.

Calvin College and Trine University were tied atop the team standings with scores of 288.

The seventh MIAA Jamboree of the season is Thursday at the Wuskowhan Players Club in West Olive, Mich.
