OBERLIN, Ohio – Jessica Shaw proved she can run with the top runners in the region when she was 13^th to the finish line in the Inter-Regional Rumble.

Shaw completed the 6K course in 22:44.6 to lead Albion College to the top half of the team standings. The Britons were 17^th out of 40 teams.

The gap between Shaw and Albion's No. 2 runner, Emily Allison, was more than a minute. Allison was the 74^th runner to finish, reaching the line in 23:57.6.

Megan Wickens (24:32.3), Leanne Wegley (24:43.8) and Allison Snyder (25:11) completed Albion's top five.

Albion now turns its attention to the Nov. 1 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championship at Calvin College.
