MARSHALL, Mich. – Eighty-one was the score of the day for Albion College golfers in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree played at The Medalist Golf Club.

Three of the five varsity Britons completed rounds of 81 as the team finished sixth out of eight teams. Albion's team score was 326. The top five teams were Trine University (305), Calvin College (307), Hope College (309), Adrian College (314) and Kalamazoo College (315).

Tyler Covell, Brandon Rincon and Ryan Bomya all turned in cards with scores of 81. Nick Leeman also had his score court with a round of 83.

Calvin's John Van Noord shot 2-under par 70 to achieve medalist status.

The league teams will gather in Kalamazoo on Monday  for the fourth jamboree of the season.
