KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Albion College matched its season-low score of 311 Monday, but the Britons may have left the Kalamazoo Country Club wondering what might have been.
The Britons finished sixth against their Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rivals, but they were only three shots behind fourth place Calvin College and seven behind third place Hope College.
Tyler Covell shot a 75 to finish in a tie for sixth on the individual leader board. His score was one stroke from matching his season-low score.
Ryan Bomya and Connor Maddalena tied for 15th among individuals with rounds of 77. Nick Leeman completed Albion's team score with a round of 82.
The fifth MIAA Jamboree of the season is set for Saturday at Trine University's Zollner Golf Course.
