HILLSDALE, Mich. – Head Coach Jake Taber credited the senior members of the Albion College women's swimming & diving team for setting a good example through a good warm up and team support, but it was sophomore Sarah Kilbride and first-year student-athlete Anna Moore who stole the show in the dual meet at Hillsdale College.
Kilbride won the 200-yard individual medley and swam a leg on the winning medley relay and Moore took first place in the backstroke events and the medley and freestyle relays in Albion's 150-129 setback.
Kylene Slocum and Anna Hargrove joined Kilbride and Moore on the medley relay. Moore was followed by Molly Blank, Lauren Pawelec and Hargrove on the freestyle relay.
Lauren Young outscored Julia Russell in 1-meter diving, while Russell was unopposed on the 3-meter board.
Albion's next meet is the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Relays on Oct. 24.
