JACKSON, Mich. - Tyler Covell and Brandon Rincon were among the top 14 players Friday, and Albion College is tied for fourth after the first round of the Spring Arbor Intercollegiate at the Cascades Golf Course.

Covell's 78 placed him eighth on the individual leaderboard, while Rincon is tied with five others after a round of 79.

Albion completed Friday's round with a 329 team score. Connor Maddalena contributed an 85 and Ryan Bomya an 87.
