LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Running against top competition in a pre-national meet, Albion College senior Jessica Shaw ran to a eighth place finish in the Louisville Sports Commission Classic.
Shaw completed the 6k course in 21:47.71.
Albion finished 11th out of 39 teams in the meet.
Albion's next four runners finished within 39 seconds of each other. Allison Snyder reached the finish in 23:36.38, followed by Alicia Medrano (23:53.72), Leaha Sinnaeve (24:11.35) and Aubrey Hemstreet (24:15.35).
Next up for Albion is a fall break trip to Christopher Newport University and an Oct. 11 meet in Gladstone, Va.
