ALBION, Mich. – First-year runner Aubrey Hemstreet was Albion's first runner in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Cross Country Championship.

A Portage Central High School product, Hemstreet finished 22^nd in 24:16.

Albion finished sixth in the team standings, finishing with a 140 total.

Albion's top five runners finished in a 41-second gap. Allison Snyder (24^th, 24:22), Katie Davis (29^th, 24:43), Morgan Button (32^nd, 24:57) and Alicia Medrano (33^rd, 24:57) completed Albion's top five.

Next up for the Britons is a Nov. 12 trip to Holland, Mich., for the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional.
