DEFIANCE, Ohio – First-year golfer Justin Kapke achieved a round of 77 Tuesday, one stroke shy of matching his collegiate career best, to lead the Albion College men's golf team in the Jon Speiss Memorial Tournament.

Justin Leeds and Scot Michalos finished with rounds of 81 and Jim Chapman added a round of 82 as Albion was eighth among teams with a 321 total.

Albion will compete Friday and Saturday in the Irish Hills Invitational at the Grande Golf Club in Jackson, Mich.
