ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Natalie Purcell, a junior from Grand Blanc, Mich., was the top runner for the Albion College women's cross country team in a Friday meet hosted by Concordia University.

Purcell finished sixth overall, reaching the finish in 22:41.56.

Also running for the Britons were Irene Corona Avila (25:48), Jessica Reynolds (26:44.56), Tessa Triest (31:37.33) and Erin Lathrop (32:17.92).

Albion will send its varsity runners to Winneconne, Wis., for the Oct. 13 pre-national meet.
