GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Alexandra Horman and Katie Ferrero achieved personal best splits and Hannah Erickson added her season best performance as Albion College finished third in the 800-yard freestyle relay on the opening night of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Swimming & Diving Championships.

The Britons completed the race in 7:50.67. Horman's leadoff split was 1:57.81. She was followed by Camila Manrique (1:59.65), Ferrero (1:56.62) and Erickson (1:56.69).

Thursday events include the 200 freestyle and 400 medley relays and individual swims in the 500 freestyle, 200 individual medley and 50 freestyle.
