ANGOLA, Ind. – The Albion College men's golf team played its first spring event Tuesday afternoon, a match play competition. The Britons defeated Rochester, 3-2, in the consolation round. Jake Hinkle (three up with two holes left), Jim Chapman (five up with four holes left) and Jack Welke (six up with five holes left) were the winners for the Britons.

Albion was defeated by St. Francis, 5-0, in the first round.
