BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Soti Michalos turned in the best round of his collegiate career and Patrick Kelly added a score in the 70s to lead the Albion College men's golf team in the first round of the Lou Collins Invitational at the Bedford Valley Golf Club.

Albion sits in 11^th place with a 318 total.

Michalos, a sophomore, finished the day with a 3-over par 75. Kelly added a score of 78.

Justin Kapke (80) and Jack Welke (85) also contributed to Albion's total.

Hope College (287) holds an 11-shot edge over Allegheny College (298) and it leads Trine University (299) by 12.
