ALBION, Mich. – Rileigh Eding and Tia Ulieme were part of the winning medley relay and each finished first in two individual events to lead Albion College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's swimming and diving dual meet.
Hope emerged with a 153-143 victory in the meet.
Eding won the 100- and 200-yard freestyle events and Ulieme was first in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly. They were joined by Katy Henning and Allison Dasky on the medley relay.
Eding and Dasky joined Nicole McCann and Hannah Erickson on the winning 400 freestyle relay at the end of the meet.
Individually, McCann was first in the 100 backstroke.
Samantha Swingewood was first in the 200 butterfly and second in the 500 freestyle and the 200 individual medley.
Albion will return to the Dean Aquatic Center for a 6 p.m. dual meet against Kalamazoo College.

Joe and Julie Serra have given a $5 million leadership gift to launch a fundraising initiative to make two dreams a reality at Albion College. The first is a newly expanded fitness and student activity facility at the site of the current Dow Recreation and Wellness Center. The second is a new or renovated competition facility for the volleyball, men's basketball and women's basketball teams that currently call Kresge Gymnasium home.
