CHARLOTTE, Mich. – Adia Langeland, Jessica Reynolds and Lucy Schuiling represented Albion College as the women's cross country team ran in a non-scored meet hosted by Olivet College.

Langeland was the first Briton to complete the 5K course, reaching the finish in 24 minutes, 2 seconds.

Reynolds set a time of 25:18 and Schuiling finished in 31:05.

The Britons are scheduled to travel to Grand Rapids for a meet hosted by Calvin University on Sept. 7.

Joe and Julie Serra have given a $5 million leadership gift to launch a fundraising initiative to make two dreams a reality. The first is a newly expanded fitness and student activity facility at the site of the current Dow Recreation and Wellness Center. The second is a new or renovated facility for the volleyball, men's basketball and women's basketball teams that currently call Kresge Gymnasium home.
