HOLLAND, Mich. -- On Monday, the Albion College men's golf team took sixth at the third MIAA Jamboree of the season. The Britons shot a 316 on the afternoon.

Justin Kapke led the Britons, shooting a 75. The senior shot a 34 on the back nine. Next for Albion was Sam Hibbs, who carded a 77 on the afternoon. Jack Welke was the other Albion player in the seventies, shooting a 78.

Rounding out the team for Albion were Brendan Iatrow (86) and Connor Krzywiecki (88).

Competing as an individual, Soti Michalos shot a 79.

Trine University won the event with a team score of 287.

Albion will be the host school tomorrow for the fourth MIAA Jamboree of the year.

On the women's side, the Albion College women's golf team placed ninth in the fourth MIAA Jamboree of the year. Albion shot a 36 8on Monday afternoon.

Leading the team was Sydney Cohn, who shot an 89. Next up for the Brits was Emily Abramczyk (91) and Anika Krishnan (93). Mackenzie Gillette finished with a 95, and Bailey Downs rounded out the squad with a 96.

Sabrina Fitzgerald and Malena Solis competed as individuals. Solis shot a 100 and Fitzgerald finished with a 105.

The Britons will be in action on Saturday at Adrian College.
