Cross country races on the East Coast

GLASSBORO, N.J. – The Albion College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Rowan Inter Regional Border Battle. It was Albion's first meet since Pre-Nationals two weeks ago.

On the women's side, Megan McCulloch finished 41st in a field of nearly 300 runners, clocking in at 23:28.8. Next up for the Britons was sophomore Fatima Cruz, who finished with a time of 24:56.4.

Bianca Wiegerink was the third Briton to cross the finish line, with a time of 27:07.5.

With a time of 27:36.1, Olivia DeGraaf was next. The final Briton runner was Kristina Dolgacheva, who ran a 31:25.8.

For the men, Houston Bowen's time of 28:27.7 was the best for the Brits. Just a few seconds behind was Ikenna Achara, who crossed the line at 28:45.7.

Ruark Wicka was next up with a race of 29:49.2. Connor Clark ran a 30:16.3.

Matt Record, Josiah Graddick and Noah Flint all ran for the Britons as well.

Albion will next compete at the MIAA Championships on Oct. 29.
