Cross country competes at Pre-Nationals

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Britons Cross Country team had a tough day at the pre-nationals race in East Lansing on Saturday. The women finished 26th out of 36 teams while the men finished 36th out of 36.

Megan McCulloch finished 36th in the women's race with a time of 23:03. Fatima Cruz finished 184th with a time of 25:09, and Samantha Bieth was close behind in 185th with a time of 25:11. Olivia DeGraaf finished with a time of 25:17 (198th). Serena Arnold finished with a time of 28:09 (281st). Bianca Wiegerink finished at 28:15 in 284th place. Melanie Symons (30:26) and Kristina Dolgacheva (31:49) rounded out the team.

For the men, Houston Bowen Jr. finished 257th with a time of 29:01. Ikenna Achara finished 270th with a time of 29:22. Josiah Graddick finished 277th with a time of 29:35. Connor Clark finished with a time of 30:10 (297th). Ruark Wicka finished 304th (30:39), and Matthew Record closely followed in 306th (30:51).

Meanwhile, in the open race, Noah Flint finished 106th with a time of 30:57. Juan Lopez (118th) and Jordon Loukotka (119th) finished within seconds of each other. Dallas Wilson wasn't too far behind in 121st with a time of 33:18.

The Britons get twelve days off before competing in the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle GLOUCESTER COUNTY DREAM PARK on October 15th.
