Women's tennis wraps up fall slate

Box Score NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – Jaymee Herrington earned her first collegiate win on Wednesday, as the Albion College women's tennis team fell to Manchester, 8-1. In the Britons fall finale, Albion saw some good things from its women's lineup.

At third doubles, Herrington and Mara Pilgrim came up just short in an 8-6 decision.

At sixth singles, Herrington won in a tiebreaker. After dropping the first set, 6-1, she came back and rallied for a 7-6 (5) win in the next set. She closed out the day with a 10-6 win.

The Britons will continue to work over the winter before their spring opener on Feb. 11.
