McCulloch takes 10th at Regionals

HOLLAND, Mich. — Megan McCulloch. All-Region.

With a time of 21:44.9, McCulloch placed 10th in the regional, earning All-Region honors and potentially punching a ticket to the DIII National Championships in East Lansing next weekend.The official field gets announced Sunday.

As a whole, the women took 15th, led by McCulloch's performance. This is the best performance at the evet for the women's team since 2016. With a time of 23:26.0, Samantha Bieth finished second for the Britons.

Fatima Cruz, Olivia DeGraaf and Helena Abbott rounded out the scoring runners. The three finished at 23:56.5, 24:03.5 and 24:25.0.

The final Albion runner on the women's side was Bianca Wiegerink. She finished with a time of 25:34.3.

Houston Bowen Jr. led the men's team, finishing with a time of 27:36.8. Ikenna Achaea and Israel Aquino were the next two Britons to cross the finish line. The pair clocked in at 28:42.1 and 28:49.7.

Freshman Josiah Graddick was the fourth Albion runner to cross the finish line. He ended with a race of 28:58.0. With a time of 28:58.2, Matthew Record rounded out the team.

Connor Clark and Ruark Wicka competed as well, but did not score. They finished at 29:09.3 and 29:41.0.
