Women's golf competes at Kyle Campbell Memorial

BATTLE CREEK, Mich – In their first tournament of the season, the Albion College women's golf team struggled in the Kyle Campbell Memorial. As a team, the Britons placed 14th, shooting a 743 in the two-day event.

Freshman Helen Buk had the best weekend for the Britons, shooting an 86-93 – 197. Junior Emily Abramczyk was next for Albion, shooting a two-day total of 95-90 – 185.

Kenzie Gillette (100-92 – 192) and Taylor Downs (97-96 – 193) were separated by just one stroke.

Sabrina Fitzgerald was the fifth Briton to compete, ending the weekend with a 99-104 – 203.

Albion begins conference play this week when they head to the first MIAA Invitational on Wednesday.
