Men's soccer falls short to Thunder

ALBION – Unable to find the back of the net, the Albion College men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Trine University. Despite Albion having chances, the Britons could not connect in the match. 

Early on, Albion was awarded a penalty kick, but the shot hit the post as the match remained scoreless. At the half, the two teams were locked in a scoreless tie. 

Moments after a goal was waived off, the Thunder scored in the 66th minute, as that was the difference maker. 

Trine outshot Albion, 19-6. Dario Vujic made seven saves in net. 

On Tuesday, Albion hosts. No. 13 Calvin University for a 7 p.m. match.
