Men's soccer blanked on the road

HOLLAND, Mich. – Mustering just four shots on the road, the Albion College men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at Hope College on Saturday afternoon. 

The Flying Dutchmen got on the board in the 18th minute off an unassisted goal. That 1-0 margin would hold throughout the remainder of the first half. 

Hope scored its second of the day in the 59th minute, as a shot to the lower right corner went past the Albion keeper, Dario Vujic. 

Vujic, a freshman, tallied six saves in the loss. 

With one regular season contest remaining, Albion sits at 7-6-1 overall, 2-3-1 in the MIAA. 

On Wednesday, Albion will host Kalamazoo College for a 7 p.m. game. That night, the Britons will recognize their senior class – Grady Lycan, Brett Swaton, Thony Zandanga and Alex Carre-Font.
