Box Score ALBION – Three goals in a three minute span lifted the Albion College men's soccer team to a 3-1 victory over Kalamazoo College. With the win, the Britons secure the No. 4 seed for the MIAA Tournament and earn the right to host the first round.

Trailing 1-0 after halftime, Nick Miller's first goal of the season knotted the game up in the 63rd minute. The junior rifled a shot that skipped between the legs of the Kalamazoo keeper, reviving life back into the Briton lineup.

Just 10 seconds later, Albion took the lead for good. Tristen Spettel's first collegiate goal certainly was one to remember, as his right footed strike was a shot for the ages. Spettel's goal came off a good feed from Ezekiel Johnson

Three minutes later, Brett Swaton connected with Grady Lycan who broke free of the Hornet defense. Lycan's fifth goal of the season was buried into the back of the net to give Albion some breathing room, taking a 3-1 lead.

Kalamazoo outshot the Brits 19-9, but Dario Vujic was steady in goal. The freshman totaled eight saves to propel Albion to the win.

Another rematch is on the docket for the men's soccer team, as Kalamazoo slips to the No. 5 seed with the loss. Albion will host the Hornets on Saturday in the MIAA Quarterfinals for a 4 p.m. game time.
