ALBION – A late goal saw the Albion College men's soccer team battle to a draw with The University of Olivet, 1-1. Junior
Brayden Stavros scored his first goal of the season in the tie.
After a scoreless first half, Stavros drilled a shot past the Olivet keeper in the 75th minute. The unassisted strike pushed the Brits ahead 1-0.
Olivet evened the match with less than three minutes remaining, as Albion had to settle for its first draw of the season.
Riley Folk contributed a phenomenal defensive play as well, preventing a potential Olivet goal.
Both teams had 13 shots each.
Dario Vujic made six saves in net.
The Britons will continue conference action on Wednesday when they travel to Adrian for a 7 p.m. game.
