Pastor breaks single season goals record in WLAX finale

ANGOLA, Ind. – Addie Pastor broke the Albion women's lacrosse single season scoring record, as the Britons defeated Trine University, 16-10. The senior scored six goals to bring her season total to 70, breaking the previous record of 68. 

Pastor led the team with seven points, as Olivia Dameron also tacked on seven. Dameron finished with five goals and a pair of assists. 

After a tight first period with the Brits leading by one, Albion went on a 5-1 run in the second to build to an 8-3 lead at the half. In the first quarter, a Pastor goal was accompanied by a pair from sophomore Kyndall Lewis

Pastor and Dameron each netted two in the second, as freshman Ellen Chown tacked on one for the Brits. The teams traded goals throughout the third, as Kellie Flynn and Aaliyah Eudabe added to their stat lines with goals. 

Sophomore Julia Ames controlled six draws in the win, as Pastor and Lewis each picked up four. Angelina Mendieta picked up a team-beest six ground balls for the visitors. 

Freshman Nicole Miller made 13 saves to pick up the victory for the Brits. 

Albion's season concludes with a 6-10 overall record.
