Moller named assistant men's soccer coach

Wytse Molenaar has announced the hiring of Rhys Moller as the next assistant coach of the Albin College men's soccer program. Moller was a standout goalkeeper at Cornell University, and is currently a goalkeeper for semi-professional AFC Ann Arbor, where he has been tabbed the Defensive Player of the Year for the last two seasons. 

He has had coaching stops at Concordia University (MI), Legends FC, ODP, Michigan Thunder and is the current girls' varsity coach at Dexter High School, as well as a staff coach at Saline FC.

Serving as the goalkeeper coach for Concordia's women's team, in two seasons the Cardinals recorded nine clean sheets and 181 saves under his direction. Leading Dexter since 2021, the team has posted an overall record of 43-26-8, claiming a District Championship and regional appearance with Moller at the helm. 

A native of Dexter, Michigan, Moller holds a USSF D license.
