Pace to lead revived cheer program

Albion alumna Mercedes Pace will bring back the cheerleading program this fall

Albion Athletics is excited to announce the revival of the cheerleading program and will turn to alumna Mercedes Pace to lead the program. Pace will begin her tenure with the Britons in preparation for the upcoming football season.

While at Albion, Pace was on the cheerleading team for all four years and was a student coach in her fifth year. An Albion native, she was part of the first class of the Build Albion Fellows and graduated with a degree in theatre in 2020.

Pace is currently a theatre instructor at Jackson School of the Arts in nearby Jackson.
