Tennis concludes fall slate

ALBION – On Saturday, the Albion College tennis teams wrapped up their fall slates with their annual doubles tournament, welcoming both Olivet and Alma. As a whole, the men's teams for the Britons went 9-3 overall, as the women's squads went 6-10.

Playing as the 1s, Jacob Doyle and Josh Doyle were a perfect 4-0 for the Britons. In the second doubles slot on the men's side were Brendan Morrison and Alex Beard, who also turned in a perfect 4-0 mark. With a 1-3 record on Saturday, the number three team of Jacob Kubiak and Noah McCollum competed as well.

The women's side had four teams for the Brits, led by Lynsey Brearley and Karina Nigg going 3-1 in the three spot. At first doubles, Savannah McDonald and Abbie Hubbard finished 1-3. The sister tandem of Josie Dunn and Molly Dunn went 2-2 at second doubles, and Kashish Tank and Isabella Zarate rounded out the team going 0-4.

This ends the fall competition for the Britons. They will be back in action in February.
