FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – For the fourth time this season, Wen Wadsworth-Curcuru has earned MIAA Athlete of the Week honors.
The junior helped lead the Britons to a dominant 114–28 victory over Manchester, earning first place in both the one-meter (279.33) and three-meter (293.50) diving events. In the tri-meet with Davenport and Hillsdale, she won both events as well and earned her second NCAA Regional cut in the 3-meter which guarenteed her a trip to the event following the MIAA Championships for a chance to compete at the NCAA CHampionships.
Wadsworth-Curcuru has now qualified for the NCAA Regional Cuts in both events and continues to showcase remarkable consistency this season. She remains undefeated in the one-meter dive and has finished runner-up just once in the three-meter competition.
The Britons will look to extend their winning streak when they travel to Alma on Saturday, November 15 for their next meet.
