ALBION, Mich. – The Albion men's swim & dive team lost, 141-85, to Division II Davenport at the Dean Aquatic Center.
The tri-meet was supposed to be at Hillsdale, who only has a women's team, but had to be moved to Albion due to unforeseen circumstances.
The 400 medley relay quartet of
Jalen Hung,
Tyler Deubel,
Steven Matyas and
Harper Prutch took first in the event with a mark of 3:46.84 to kick off the meet.
Deubel placed third in the 1,000 freestyle (10:17.51), while Prutch was the runner-up in the 200 freestyle (1:55.28).
Matyas took third in the 50 freestyle (23.92), and Hung was the Britons' best finisher in the 200 IM (2:03.45).
The senior also placed third in the 100 butterfly (56.89).
Brody Roberts was Albion's top finisher in the 100 freestyle (52.92), while Prutch took third in the 100 backstroke (58.85).
Deubel and
Evan Steele went 2-3 in the 500 freestyle (5:00.84 and 5:16.22), and
Spencer Lukasik placed third in the 100 breaststroke (1:09.32) to round out the Briton swimmers' performances.
In the diving well,
Jeremy Romero won both the 1-meter (230.47) and 3-meter (195.30) events.

Albion will take on Manchester on Saturday, November 8 at 1 p.m. at the Dean Aquatic Center.
