RESULTS
ALBION, Mich. – The Albion women's swim & dive team dropped to Division II programs Davenport (142-87) and Hillsdale (169-63).
The tri-meet was supposed to be at Hillsdale, but had to be moved to Albion due to unforeseen circumstances.
Casey Adcock took second in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:56.43, and
Charli Nguyen also placed runner-up in the 50 freestyle (25.82).
Kaitlyn Kreb was the Britons' top finisher in the 200 IM (2:33.41) as well as the 100 butterfly (1:08.98).
Adcock also was the runner-up in the 100 freestyle (56.31).
Nguyen (1:12.99),
Leah Gray (6:13.81) and
Alyssa Glaser (1:17.41) were Albion's best finishers in the 100 backstroke, 500 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke, respectively.
Wen Wadsworth-Curcuru continued her dominant streak in the diving well with first-place finishes in both the 1 (241.35) and 3-meter (283.50) events. Her 3-meter score was enough for her second NCAA Regional cut of the season, which guarantees her a trip to the event following the MIAA Championships for a chance to compete at the NCAA Championships.
Mia Carone took second in the 1-meter (228.00), while
Alyssa Schafer was the runner-up in the 3-meter (221.00).
