ALBION – The Albion College women's tennis team continued their winning ways with a 7-0 victory over Manchester on Saturday.
At first doubles,
Savannah McDonald and
Abbie Hubbard rolled to a 6-0 win. In second doubles,
Molly Dunn and
Josie Dunn were near-flawless, winning by a 6-0 margin. With the two Albion wins and a default from the Spartans gave the Britons the doubles point.
Hubbard won at first singles by a 6-0, 6-0 dominating win. Following was senior
Josie Dunn with a 6-0, 6-2 win at second singles. At third singles, the Brits got another win from McDonald (6-1, 6-1) and
Lynsey Brearley wrapped things up with a 6-0, 6-1 win.
The women's team will be off until their spring break trip, beginning on Mar. 3.
