Polar Bears sneak past women's lacrosse

ALBION – Despite a halftime lead, the Albion College women's lacrosse team dropped a 7-6 decision to Ohio Northern University. The Polar Bears rattled off four unanswered goals late to steal the win from the Britons. 

Logan Hutchinson scored twice for Albion. Hayla-Lyn Gilly and Ellen Chown each chipped in a goal and an assist. ONU controlled the draw, but Albion's Aaliyah Eudabe led the hosts with four draw controls. 

In goal, Nicole Miller made seven saves, picked up six ground balls and caused four turnovers. 

As a team, Albion committed 30 turnovers.

On Saturday, the Brits head to Augustana University for a 2 p.m. CST game.
